Sulu State University joins the Muslim Ummah in the observance of Yawm al-'Ashura, the 10th day of Muharram.
May this sacred day inspire us to reflect on the values of faith, gratitude, patience, and devotion to Allah. For those who are able, fasting on this day is highly encouraged as a means of seeking Allah's mercy and forgiveness.
May Allah accept our prayers, good deeds, and sacrifices.
