Sulu State University (SuluSU) and Pampanga State University (PSU) formalized an academic partnership through a Virtual Ceremonial Signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on August 25, 2026, held in connection with the National Research Conference for Teacher Education 2026.
The virtual ceremonial signing marks a significant step toward strengthening collaboration between the two state universities, particularly in the areas of academic development, research, innovation, and other mutually beneficial initiatives.
The signing was led by Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training and Extension of Pampanga State University, and Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, President of Sulu State University, together with officials and representatives from both institutions.
The Memorandum of Agreement for Academic Partnership establishes a framework for cooperation between SuluSU and PSU, fostering opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaborative research and academic initiatives, professional development, and other programs that contribute to the advancement of teacher education and higher education.
