Sulu State University (SuluSU) participated in the Higher Education Partnerships Conference (HEPCON) 2026, held on October 1–2, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu, Philippines, represented by Dr. Rania Abduraup of the Office of Internationalization, Linkages, and Partnerships.

HEPCON 2026 is an international gathering of higher education leaders, professionals, and stakeholders aimed at fostering collaboration, strengthening institutional networks, and establishing strategic global partnerships among universities, governments, and industries.

The two-day conference featured an education exhibition, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and business-to-business (B2B) meetings, providing opportunities for participating institutions to exchange insights, explore potential collaborations, and discuss emerging developments in higher education.

With its focus on campus internationalization, educational innovation, and student mobility, the conference served as a platform for exploring initiatives that expand global engagement and strengthen the contribution of higher education to addressing shared global challenges.

Sulu State University's participation underscores its continuing commitment to advancing internationalization, expanding institutional linkages, and exploring strategic partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for its students, faculty, and the wider academic community.
