Sulu State University marked another milestone in the continuing development of its campus facilities with the Inauguration and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the Stalwart Dink Yard and Spike Yard, held at the Sulu State University Campus on September 8, 2026
The ceremony formally opened the newly established recreational and sports facilities, envisioned to provide students, personnel, and members of the University community with additional spaces for physical activity, recreation, camaraderie, wellness, and athletic development. The program commenced with an invocation, followed by the Welcome Remarks of University President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, who highlighted the significance of the new facilities as part of the University’s continuing growth and transformation.
The occasion was further made meaningful by the presence and message of Dr. Lilian De Las Llagas, former Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education and retired professor of the University of the Philippines Manila, who graced the ceremony and shared words of inspiration with the Sulu State University community.
