Sulu State University actively participated in the training program for the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) AUN-QA Management Toolkit Ver. 3.0, held from September 15-17, 2026, at Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), Zamboanga City.
The delegation was led by the University President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, joined by key academic and administrative leaders, including the Academic Deans, University and Board Secretary, Vice President for Academic Affairs,Director for Quality Assurance, and Head of Accreditation.
Throughout the three-day activity, delegates immersed themselves in intensive sessions covering the fundamental building blocks and operational strategies of the AUN-QA toolkit. The engagement culminated on the final day, where the University Director for Quality Assurance presented the university's Institutional Action Plan before the AUN and AQAN experts.
This participation highlights Sulu State University’s commitment to institutional growth, continuous quality improvement, and aligning academic programs with ASEAN international standards.
