The Central Student Government, in partnership with the Office of Student Affairs and Services, successfully launched Project LASA: Leading Access, Support and Awareness on January 31, 2026.

he first phase of the program featured an information drive designed for our Stalwarts with Diverse Abilities and their parents. The session was led by Mr. Ruhoddin Saabdula, Disability Affairs Officer of the Municipality of Jolo, who provided an in-depth discussion on the Magna Carta for Persons with Disabilities, accessibility laws, and other relevant policies that promote the rights, protection, and inclusion of persons with disabilities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Saabdula for generously sharing his expertise and for empowering our Stalwarts with valuable knowledge and awareness. We also thank the parents for their active participation, unwavering support, and commitment to advocating for an inclusive and supportive environment.

Our heartfelt appreciation to the college administration, headed by College President Prof. Charisma Ututalum, CESE, for her continued support and for delivering an inspirational message that reinforced the institution’s commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and student welfare.

Finally, we commend the Central Student Government including the Governors of the different colleges headed by Mr. Den-Ahmar Rakib for its initiative and dedication in organizing the launch of Project LASAβ€”an important step toward fostering awareness, access, support, and empowerment for all students.

To our Stalwarts with Diverse Abilities, you are seen, valued, and supported. We are with youβ€”always.
