Sulu State University successfully conducted its Two-Day Orientation and Capacity-Building on Internationalization and Global Visibility on July 30โ31, 2026 at the Sulu State University, equipping university officials and personnel with the knowledge and strategies needed to advance the University's global engagement and international rankings.
Participants also explored the THE Impact Rankings methodology, including participation requirements, weighting systems, and the key pillars of research, outreach, teaching, and stewardship. Additional sessions focused on the SDG 1โ17 indicators, evidence collection and documentation standards, and a workshop on mapping university programs to the SDGs to strengthen institutional alignment and global visibility.
The two-day activity concluded with a Synthesis and Commitment Setting, where participants reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Sulu State University's internationalization initiatives and continuous pursuit of excellence in global higher education.
