ATM | INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINING TRADITION SECURING FUTURES: Community Knowledge In Food Security, Disaster Response, Climate Change Adaptation, And Women Empowerment
Sulu State College participated in the International Conference on “Sustaining Tradition, Securing Futures: Community Knowledge in Food Security, Disaster Response, Climate Change Adaptation, and Women Empowerment”, held on January 21–23, 2026, in Zamboanga City.
The SSC delegation was led by College President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, together with other college officials, as part of the institution’s commitment to academic collaboration and international engagement.
As a highlight of the event, Sulu State College sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), together with other State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). During the signing, Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE delivered a Message of Commitment, affirming SSC’s dedication to strengthening international academic partnerships.
