Sulu State College held the Inauguration and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the Panrehiyong Sentro ng Wikang Filipino–BARMM Building on January 08, 2026 at the Sulu State College, highlighting the institution’s first Year of Legacy building. The activity was attended by college officials, partners, and guests.
The program was led by College President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, with messages delivered by Engr. Ajan S. Ajijul, District Engineer, Sulu 1st District Engineering Office, and MP Adzfar H. Usman, Deputy Speaker of the BTA Parliament. The ceremony opened with a prayer by Mr. Alfrazier Ahalul and concluded with closing remarks from Asst. Prof. Alnadzma U. Tulawie, Director of Sentro ng Wika and end-user of the building.
The building is a donated project amounting to ₱7 million, under the 2024 Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF), a project of MP Adzfar H. Usman, implemented by the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) and headed by Engr. Ajan S. Ajijul.
